Q. How much does it cost?
You can get a FREE 3-day trial through Paypal. After 3 days, your paypal account will be billed for whichever tier of the AdBlaster software you chose to try out. We have Basic, Pro and Platinum tiers for our customers.
Q. Setting up the Software?
Shortly after you subscribe to our software you will receive an email with a download link, along with your username and password. Click on the download link. Follow the installation instructions when the file has been downloaded. Unless you’ve changed it, the file will be in your “Downloads” folder.
Once the installation is complete, look on your desktop. There should be an icon that looks like a house. This will be called “Real Estate Poster” if you ordered the real estate software. This will be called “Poster” if you ordered the general ‘For Sale’ software. Double click on the icon, then enter your username and password to access your software.
Next, you will be asked to enter your personal info into the “Settings”. Click your price display “on” and click your ad style as “simple”. Complete your settings profile and hit “save”.
Next you will click on ads management and then onto ads posting. From there you will see two folder tabs “ads builder” and “ads renewal”.
Click on ads renewal. Under “ads renewal” you will see CL username and CL password. This is where you put in your craigslist username and password. Once you have entered it click save.
Q. Placing Your First Ad?
Go to “ads queue builder”. This is where you will input your first ad. Type in all the appropriate information for your listing.
Under the photos tab you can upload photos to your ad. Once you have finished writing your ad you will click “add item”. You will see your ad appear to your right in the ad queue. You may then write a new ad, save it and that will appear in your ad queue to the right.
All your ads will be saved in your ad queue to the right. Whether you want to write 1 ad or 500, it doesn’t matter. Your ad queue will store your ads for as long as you like. You may also edit or delete your stored ads in your ad queue any time. Once you have finished writing your ads and you want to start posting, you will click on the box that says “posting signal” next to the ads you want to post.
At the bottom of your screen you will click the areas where you want to post your ad. Choose up to 3 different cities/counties and then click “build queue”. Now, you are ready to post! Click on “ads management” and choose “ads posting” from the dropdown.
Now you will see the available ads queue to the right and a posting timer/interval to your left. Set the interval timer to at least 10 minutes ensuring you won’t post too rapidly and then click START. You will now see the software log into your CL account and begin to post your first ad.
It is important not to click on anything or interfere with the software posting. Once the posting is complete you will get a thank you message from CL and a link to your ad. The software will now sleep for 10 minutes until it is time to post your next ad. You can minimize the software now and continue working on your computer. This software will do its job in the background throughout the day, allowing you to do yours.
Q. Renewing Your Ads?
You can renew an ad that is 48 hours old, or more. “Renew” means the software pushes your ad back to the top of the list on CL. To access this option, go to “ads management” and click “ads posting” on the dropdown menu.
Next, you will see two folder tabs called “ads builder” and “ads renewal.” Click “ads renewal”. You will see an interval timer for choosing how quickly you will renew your ads. Set the interval timer to 300 seconds. 300 seconds is 5 minutes. You don’t want to renew your ads too quickly.
Then you will see a button called “Start”. Click “Start” and the software will begin to renew any ads in your CL account that are over 48 hours old.
Q. Ads Getting Flagged?
If your ads are getting flagged right after you post them, that is CL flagging you. You could be getting flagged because you are posting too rapidly or due to some words you are using in your ads. Try changing some wording in your ads and set the posting timer to at least every 10 minutes.
If your ads are getting flagged 5 minutes or more after posting them it is usually other CL users flagging your ads. Believe it or not, there are CL haters out there flagging legitimate ads for no good reason. If your ads are being flagged 5 minutes or more after you post, that is other users. Try posting your ads at night. That way other users won’t be able to flag your ads. Once your ads are up, you can use the renewal software to re-post them throughout the day.
Q. Ads Getting Ghosted?
If you have been posting too rapidly or too often, you may see all your ads are being flagged or ghosted. If this begins happening to you, consider letting your CL account rest for a few days or get a new CL account. This is probably due to posting too often.
Q. Geo Targeting?
You can post on CL from your location and in up to two adjoining locations. You cannot post from Los Angeles, CA to Miami, FL.
